Morsa Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Om Timer mobile app ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.

What Om Timer Does

Om Timer is a meditation and breathing timer. You can run timed sessions, optionally play YouTube videos during practice, view live heart rate with a paired Apple Watch, and see a Home Screen widget. The App offers optional premium features through in-app purchases. The App does not require an account.

Information We Collect

We do not collect personal information on our servers.

The App stores the following data only on your device (including a shared App Group used by the App, Apple Watch companion, and widget):

- Timer preferences (such as your last-picked duration and mute setting)
- Onboarding completion status
- Last session summary (for the widget and in-app display)
- Recently played YouTube video entries (such as video id, pasted link, title when available, and last played time)
- Whether you have used the one free non-premium video play

This data is not sent to our servers. We do not require an account to use the App.

Health Data

With your permission, the App uses Apple HealthKit to:

- Save completed meditation or video-watch time as Mindful Minutes in the Health app
- On a paired Apple Watch, read heart rate during a session so you can see it live (and may use a HealthKit workout session on the Watch for that purpose)

Health data stays in Apple Health on your devices. We do not receive, store, or transmit your HealthKit data to our servers. You can revoke Health access at any time in iOS Settings.

Purchases

If you buy a subscription, payment is processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information.

The App checks your purchase or subscription status on your device to unlock premium features. This information is not sent to our servers.

What We Do Not Do

- We do not collect, sell, or share personal data
- We do not use analytics or tracking
- We do not store your App data on external servers operated by us

Notifications

The App may use local notifications to alert you when a session completes. You can disable notifications at any time in the App or in your device Settings.

Apple Watch and Widget

If you use the Apple Watch companion or Home Screen widget, limited session and preference data is shared on-device through Apple's App Group and Watch Connectivity features so those experiences can work. This data does not go to our servers.

Third-Party Services

The App is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple handles in-app purchases, billing, HealthKit, notifications, and related system services. Apple's privacy practices are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

If you play a YouTube video in the App, content is loaded from YouTube. YouTube's privacy practices are governed by Google's / YouTube's privacy policy. We do not operate YouTube.

Data Retention and Deletion

All App preference and session data stays on your device. Deleting the App removes this data. We have no copy of your data on our servers. Health data you chose to save remains in Apple Health until you delete it there.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
